Summer is finally here......
This is always a busy & exciting time at KC

We have introduced a lot of new designs over the passed few months and now have a dedicated "New design" link on site.

There is more to come! Unfortunately there is only 24 hours in a day & it's hard to find the time to add them with all those lovely orders of yours coming in.
Bear with us and keep popping back.

KC is getting an increasing amount of interest in the wholesale side of the business.


So if your out and about & come across something that looks familiar, it's probably our product.

I have since taken on another new member of staff and increased the hours of Felicity(which makes her very happy) so very exciting times ahead.

Don't forget you can always come and say hi on my Facebook page, that is updated daily.

Typical morning visit to the village PO, I'm not very popular with the other customers!!!!!!

Oh my has it really been that long since I lasted updated my blog, hanging head in shame.
You have kept me very busy for which I thank you all :)
Summer is almost here yipee, I don't know about you but I get so much more done when the sun is shining, I imagine it helps as the days always seem longer.
Wedding season is upon us with vengeance and my hand-crafted horseshoes are flying out of the window! I have taken on an extra helper to enable me to get them to you as quickly as possible. Big welcome to Emily who is learning the ropes really quickly! Come and meet the team on my website.

Sunny Sunday

Well the sun was shining and I was feeling good, all the family at footie so peace and quiet......
Got through loads of orders think I may need a truck to take them all to the PO in the morning, no doubt I will be very unpopular with the customers behind me! oh well.
Found the baby fish had survived the very cold winter and she/he looks well(how do you tell the sex of a goldfish must google it) It's still only about an inch long but it's alive so that was good news, must take a photo!
Twitter umm really am trying to get my little head around it, I don't like to be beaten and love a challege so I downloaded a free twitter course from webmums.com
I'm on day 4 stillnot sure whether I'm ment to tweet or chirp.....may start from day1 again.
Looking forward to spending some time with my boys whilst there at home so may close the website for a few days (sorry folks) but sometimes I forget what my family look like!

Stressed me never!

I thought today was going to be one of those days....we all get them.

Opened my emails too many to mention at 6am and started to panic, so many sales, (not complaining!)
then an email from a customer saying her order had not arrived,if only I did not have to rely on a third party ie Royal Mail to deliver!
Started to print off invoices ran out of black ink, changed it which is no mean feat
 then ran out of blue!
changed it printed off more orders and noticed printer head needed cleaning as I could not read invoices arghhhhhh, so did the head cleaning too then run out of yellow, ha ha. Losing the plot at this point even the dogs are hiding!
At last sorted, managed to find customers order it was sitting at her local sorting office waiting to be picked up, sent email customer extremely happy with service! Got 3 other emails from customers stating how pleased they were, ebay feedback brilliant, manage to make 10 horseshoes and 3 baby plaques today, so in the end it ended well!
I love my life! x x x

The Office Chair

Well did the chair alleviate the back pain?
YES it is wonderful, feel so much better at the end of a long day.
Fingers crossed it will last!
I had a couple of really sad emails from customers today.
One had her house burgled whilst at a funeral!
and the other had just found out her husband had been playing away!
I'm really very grateful for my life, I have my problems like everyone else but I am very fortunate to have a lovely husband and 3 fantastic boys.
 I don't wish for anything........well ok some new shoes would be nice & maybe a bag to match, a holiday perhaps ok now I'm getting greedy huh!

Excited

I'm looking forward to going to work tomorrow.  Not because I have new shoes or a new bag but I have a new chair!
Ha ha I hear you say she's crazy, yes probably, but I have used many different chairs in my workshop and the last one was 50p at a car boot sale, but it was back breaking! So I really am excited.
 I have splashed out on a really comfortable office chair, hopefully not too comfortable because sometimes when I start my day at 4am to get my orders out on time, I may just fall asleep, but at least I will be pain free.
It will be covered with glitter & glue by the end of tomorrow so will fit in just fine.
